Sally L. Icenogle - 1934-2002 - Beardstown

    Sally L. Icenogle, 68, of Beardstown, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 25, 2002, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
    She was born January 4, 1934, in Beardstown, the daughter of Albert and AuVerne Williams Shebiel. She married Ernest L. Icenogle in Beardstown and he preceded her in death Sept. 19, 1980.
    She is survived by one son, Timothy L. (wife, Vickie) of Beardstown; two grandchildren; one brother, Larry (wife, Margaret) Wagner of Beardstown; three sisters Mary Alice Varley of Tucson, Ariz., Dorothy (husband, John) Hamm of Browning, and Geraldine Wagner of Beardstown and Long Beach, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, her parents, Clarence and
AuVerne Wagner, and her brother Jack Shebiel.
    Mrs. Icenogle graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1951. She was employed with the Beardstown School District for
several years. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and she loved and adored spending time with her family and friends.
    Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Beardstown City Cemetery. Family will meet friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. Memorials are suggested to Beardstown Park District.
