I have postcards to my great grandmother from a Martha in Beardstown, Ill.
written in 1912 and 1913. Martha was her neice and a school teacher. One postcard shows
Martha with a class of small children playing London Bridge. The other shows Martha's home
after a flood in 1913. The house is on a corner. I am wondering if anyone could identify
the school or intersection where this house is located. I have scans of these pictures.
The cards were written in German.
